Working as a fine artist, as well as a special effects makeup artist. Tiana Doerrie graduated from Tom Savini’s Special Makeup Effects Center. Campy gore fan first and foremost, she started studying makeup after watching such films such as Toxic Avenger and Slumber Party Massacre. Just like any inspiring effects artist, she bought some liquid latex and started to dabble with other mediums. Picking up books from the master himself Stan Winston, Tiana tried to emulate his work, in awe of his sculpts and prosthetics. “The best thing is to be able to be creative and pulling things out of my imagination making them physical objects and characters.” She says. 
You can see Tiana Doerrie and all of her work this July 23 at the RAW:Philadelphia presents COMMUNIQUÉ. Doors open at 7pm. It is 21 and over with Live Music, Artists and a Fashion show. Tiana Doerrie will be there with lots of other great artists and friends, having fun all night. This also creates a smaller hole in your pocket, high quality makeup, high quality skill, but for a lower price. Getting your name out in the industry is the most important thing for an artist to be successful, do what makes you happy and have fun while doing it.
